I loved this part:
A final story: A few weeks ago, the Hartford Courant ran a photo of a Trinity College freshman who was protesting the execution of a serial killer. He carried a sign that said, "Why do we kill people who kill people to show that killing people is wrong?" — and he was wearing a Che Guevara hat!
Rach - wondering when people don't even know the meaning of the pledge, or are certian that Dick Cheney runs OPEC, if there is any chance at all?
that could be something for a scifi show actually trying to be original, have a world who's population is always helpful and friendly, but has some completely untrue and horrible reputation so everybody else, including the show's heros, kill them at every turn.
Goe, doesn't see why every show needs to be riddled with cliche's.
