Dark Kingdom

It's a miniseries, advertised as being based on a story older than narnia or middle earth. it's supposedly adapted from the same ring story that wagner wrote an opera about, which would make it much older than tolkien. however, from what i've seen from the current sci-fi airing of the miniseries, it's about as closely based on "Nibelungenlied" as star wars. It's a soap opera about nordic nobility, and nothing more.
