Manifesto

Still trying to fisk the communist manifesto, part way through chapter one, but it's very hard to concentrate on. Large parts of it are conclusions with no supporting evidence or facts, and the rest is just gibberish.

I did see this bad review of a book I haven't read (mostly because i'm not that interested). What's interesting about the review is how it differs from this. It seems to be quite easy for leftists to assume that the richest one percent of people are the bourgeoise(sp?) and the other ninety-nine percent are proletariate wage-slaves, regardless of their actual income or position. It would seem that this is not only the viewpoint of the person who wrote that negative review, but also of the new york times, and the author of the book.

Goe, needs to focus more.
