Your link is one blog article off, the one you had landlocked countries points to a pretty good write-up on software patents.

The original article sucks, but the comments are good.

It looks like about halfway down the comments someone pointed out the reasoning.

"You seem to have forgotten the big Danube River which flows through both countries and has ships and big river barges navigable from the Black Sea (bombed bridges on the Serbian / Hungarian border permitting)"
