Carrottop Attacked, Eaten by Eddie Rabbitt

Congress is considering a law to prevent seizures of private land for 'economic development' by ... Congress. It's also supposed to forbid state and local agencies from seizing public land for 'economic development' with federal money, something easily sidestepped with a little creative accounting. This law won't pass because for it to pass, a federal agency, the Economic Development Administration, would have to be gutted. Most congressmen would rather remove their own livers than jeapordize the job security of civil servants.

Most of them probably don't know it exists yet, but they will...

Goe, bothered that only lawyers can be judges.

I know that you are not the only one who thinks that way.

Of course you have to be careful how far you want to open that box, Not having some conditions on judges could be scarry too.

There is an exception to every rule, and I can think of a couple lawyers worth reading.

Rach, just playing with links, and praying that there is no penalty for linking outside the lawyer free zone.

as a sidebar - I am still seeing zero comments on the main page. I actually had to jump to the archives to notice that you were responding. I'm not sure if that is just a browser or blogspot cache thing, or some setting you have to set...

Rach, too tired to worry about it.

Goe, answering.
